Christo’s collaboration with the couple was extensive, covering everything from custom-built wall features and benches to a specially designed kitchen, and even minute details like shelves and doors. The house included four bathrooms, three bedrooms, a study, a kids’ room, a lounge room, and a large outdoor entertainment area.

Building in New Brighton brought its own set of unique challenges, especially with its proximity to the coast. We had to carefully consider environmental aspects like rising sea levels and local flood regulations. Our approach was to blend innovation with practicality, ensuring that the home we built was not only beautiful to look at but also resilient and appropriate for its coastal setting.
